Summary: This was a great informational book about famous American women who have paved pathways and left marks on history. The book gives a woman or group of women to represent each letter of the alphabet. It introduces women of all sorts from first ladies to athletes, to women of science and math, to inventors, to nurses, performers, "us," and so many more. It gives a brief bit of information on each of the women it presents, and tells about what their accomplishments were. It's a very informational book about the women of our country.
Who would you recommend this book to?
I would recommend this book to American women and young women. Especially ones with high dreams and aspirations.
Potential problems or conflicts: I don't see any potential problems or conflicts with this book.
My reaction:
This book was really informational. The illustrations were mostly very busy because the author had information on and included so many women. It was a little too busy for my liking but the book itself is great. It's very inspiring and it has a ton of great information.
