Summary: There’s a little mouse that finds a big, red, ripe strawberry. The book goes through and says there’s a big hungry bear out there that loves red, ripe strawberries and can smell them from a mile away. It tells the little mouse that no matter how he well he guards it, or tries to hide it, or tries to disguise it, it will not keep the bear from finding it. It says the only way to hide it from the bear is to cut it in half and give one half to “me” and then eat it.
Who would you recommend this book to? I would recommend this book to all young children.
Potential problems or conflicts: I don't see any potential problems or conflicts with this book.
My reaction: I love this book! I love the cute facial expressions of the mouse and I love all of the illustrations altogether! It's a very fun, creative and clever book for young children!
